Just a quick post for all of my Losing It comrades: I'm still hanging in here! I've made an honest effort to exercise each day this week, even though it's been a rough few days. I feel good! I've also started a vitamin regimen which has helped so much with my energy level and mental clarity. I've been borderline anemic since Samuel's birth (I lost a lot of blood during my c-section) and I never started the iron prescription that I was supposed to way back then. Honestly, I was just too tired to remember to take one each day. I finally started them this week and I added a mulivitamin with vitamin c and b-12. The difference has been remarkable!
I don't know if I've lost any this week since I've banished our scale and we're now a scale free home again. In my post last week I explained my new goals and motivation. Part of that motivation is being more than a number on a scale. I want to feel good, look good for my husband, and have control of my eating habits. A scale isn't going to help me with any of those things. I'm not doing a lot to cut calories either. I'm eating healthy, filling meals and I'm concentrating on enjoying meals and snacks without falling into excess. It's been a good week.
Christy, just being intentional about how you handle food and exercise will make you healthier. I'm glad you had a good week!
